Even a napping Chewy brings a smile to my face.
On this day 4 years ago I married the love of my life.
Cody, you’re my best friend and the best life partner I could ever wish for or imagine. I love you so much and I am thankful everyday for our little family.
P.S. If ever you doubt that I love you, always remember that I smile and let you make our life decisions based on Star Wars. That’s true love.
Great news! Chewy is feeling much better. She is back to her normal routine of napping, playing, eating, napping, running, napping, eating…you get the gist! And now that my princess has fully recovered, it’s her turn to look after me. I thought this weekend I was starting to get my dreaded allergies but nope, I have the flu. I tried so hard to keep up with Chewy and Cody this weekend but by Sunday afternoon, I was in bed hugging a box of tissues. Luckily for me, Chewy is the world’s best snuggler and is so attentive to her sneezing mummy. The pictures below are from the weekend. I won’t post a flu ridden Sam; it’s not pretty (hehehehe)!
Happy Wednesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. The sun has been shining and the temperature is finally rising.
Our week has been fine except for Chewy’s upset tummy. She has been ill for the past few days but it looks like she is on the mend. She finally ate some food today but is still really sleepy. Time for some more snuggles. ❤
Chewy and I can’t believe April is nearly over. We’re still in the middle of construction at home and between work and play, Chewy and Cody managed to surprise me with the best birthday weekend ever.
We took a short drive to Kirkland and stayed at The Heathman Hotel, which happens to be pet friendly and since Chewy could join us it made it extra special. Cody and Chewy also found a gorgeous spot called the Flatstick Pub that invites pooches to dine and drink with their humans. It was so much fun! But the surprises didn’t stop there; they also booked me in for a relaxation spa treatment and gave me pearls (my favorite). Cody and Chewy truly made me feel like a princess and it was so much fun I completely missed/forgot my annual ‘I’m so old’ breakdown! Thanks Cody and Chewy!
